What this policy covers
Thunder Auto Sales uses cookies and similar browser storage to support this website and, if enabled and accepted, optional marketing measurement. This policy explains those technologies and how to manage your choices. Our Privacy Policy describes the related information handling.
A cookie is a small browser record associated with a website. Local storage can remember a preference between visits. Session storage keeps a browser-tab record for the current session. These technologies can serve different purposes, so essential website functions and optional marketing are handled separately.
Your saved marketing choice
The browser preference dealership-marketing-consent records whether you accept or decline optional marketing. It is stored locally in your browser so the website can respect that choice on later visits. The application does not assign a fixed expiration to this preference; it remains until you change it or clear the relevant browser data.
When optional marketing is available, Cookie preferences in the footer lets you revisit the choice. You can decline marketing and continue browsing inventory, reading vehicle information, and sending requests.
Optional Meta Pixel measurement
If the dealership enables Meta Pixel and you accept marketing cookies, the website can load Meta's measurement script. Depending on the enabled settings, it can send a PageView event, a Lead event after a form is successfully submitted, and a source-specific event for a vehicle inquiry, contact request, purchase request, or Sell Your Car submission.
Opening a form or clicking a request button does not by itself count as a successful lead. Event identifiers help avoid counting the same completed request repeatedly. Our application does not include your submitted name, email address, phone number, or message in these event payloads.
Meta may set or read cookies such as _fbp or _fbc and process browser or advertising information under its own practices. Provider-controlled cookie behavior and lifetimes can vary. See Meta's Privacy Policy for information about its processing and choices.
Preventing duplicate measurement
Browser session storage records keys beginning lead-tracked: after a successful request has been measured. These records help avoid sending the same successful-request event repeatedly from the same browser tab session.
This session record supports measurement accuracy rather than enabling an additional marketing provider. It does not replace the consent choice or cause Meta Pixel to load when marketing has been declined.
Changing your choice or clearing browser data
Use Cookie preferences in the footer to accept or decline optional marketing when it is available. If you withdraw acceptance after the measurement script has loaded, the website reloads with optional marketing disabled. This stops new optional tracking from that page; it does not recall events that were already transmitted.
Previously stored provider cookies may remain until they expire or you remove them through your browser. Browser settings can delete cookies, local storage, and session storage or restrict them going forward. Clearing the saved preference causes the website to ask for a choice again when optional marketing is available.
Choices are specific to a browser and device. Make the choice again if you use a different browser, another device, or a browser profile without the saved preference.
External services and embedded content
If a map is configured, the Contact page can load an embedded Google Map. Loading or interacting with an external service can cause that service to receive technical information and apply its own privacy practices. Social media and other external links are also governed by the destination service's policies.
Our optional-marketing choice controls this application's Meta Pixel integration. It does not change privacy settings in your Google, Meta, or other external accounts.
Updates and questions
We may update this policy when the technologies or settings used by the website change. The last-updated date identifies the published version.
